Another Supper                     

after Caravaggio’s ‘Supper at Emmaus’

The resurrection accounts are full of personal encounters between Jesus and His followers. Here His disciple finally recognizes Jesus after journeying together to Emmaus. Jesus was recognized through a familiar gesture - breaking bread.
